Some things I saw - Photography by Jordan Kalev - Monsieur Millipede

Taken with an old Canon EF 35-70mm lens I modified by removing the front element. The effective magnification is about 1.5-1.75 x life-size. I used a dual layer dvd and a spray bottle full of water to create the colored droplets and still not happy with the results I went outside and lifted up a rock and found a millipede who was nice enough to pose to create a pretty cool photo I think. BTW you should be able to modify any front element focusing lens to be a pretty good macro lens by removing the front element.
